- Abstract: The cavity mediated spin current between two ferrite samples has been
reported by Bai et. al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 118, 217201 (2017)]. This experiment
was done in the linear regime of the interaction in the presence of external
drive. In the current paper we develop a theory for the spin current in the
nonlinear domain where the external drive is strong so that one needs to
include the Kerr nonlinearity of the ferrite materials. In this manner the
nonlinear polaritons are created and one can reach both bistable and
multistable behavior of the spin current. The system is driven into a far from
equilibrium steady state which is determined by the details of driving field
and various interactions. We present a variety of steady state results for the
spin current. A spectroscopic detection of the nonlinear spin current is
developed, revealing the key properties of the nonlinear polaritons. The
transmission of a weak probe is used to obtain quantitative information on the
multistable behavior of the spin current. The results and methods that we
present are quite generic and can be used in many other contexts where cavities
are used to transfer information from one system to another, e.g., two
different molecular systems.

Recently, a system of coupled twin spin masers placed in dual bias magnetic fields has been studied.
Compared with previous spin masers, this setup exhibits new attractors such as quasi-periodic orbits and chaos in addition to the usual limit cycles and the trivial no signal fixed point.
Here, to shed light on the nature of the bifurcations, we turn to a closely related system and systematically study the various bifurcations therein along different routes in parameter space.

Recently achieved chiral condensates open intriguing avenues for the study of the chiral properties induced by current-density interactions.
An attempt to include these features in a spinor system is presented, which gives rise to a nonlinear, effective spin-orbit coupling.
Results reveal the destabilizing role of polarization and Josephson currents, and support the existence of stable nonlinear states built of linear superpositions of plane waves.

In solid-state spin systems, the collective spin motion in a single crystal embodies multiple magnetostatic modes.
Recently, it was found that the cross-Kerr interaction between the higher-order magnetostatic mode and the Kittel mode introduces a new operable degree of freedom.
We propose a scheme to entangle two magnon modes via the cross-Kerr nonlinearity when the bias field is inhomogeneous and the system is driven.

We report on a strategy to boost the spin injection rate by exploiting electrons that can be rapidly polarized.
We demonstrate this in a model system of Nitrogen Vacancy center electrons injecting polarization into a bath of 13C nuclei in diamond.
Through a spin-ratchet polarization transfer mechanism, we show boosts in spin injection rates by over two orders of magnitude.

We show that equilibrium spin currents are a general property of materials with non negligible spin-orbit coupling (SOC)
We also propose the existence of global equilibrium spin currents, which are net bulk spin-currents along specific crystallographic directions of materials.
The physics behind equilibrium spin currents is uncovered by making an analogy between electronic systems with SOC and non-Abelian gauge theories.
