- Abstract: A supersymmetric relativistic quantum theory in the temporal domain is
developed for bi-spinor fields satisfying the Dirac equation. The simplest
time-domain supersymmetric theory can be postulated for fields with
time-dependent mass, showing an equivalence with the bosonic supersymmetric
theory in time-domain. Solutions are presented and they are used to produce
probability oscillations between mass states. As an application of this idea,
we study the two-neutrino oscillation problem, showing that flavour state
oscillations may emerge from the supersymmetry originated by the
time-dependence of the unique mass of the neutrino.

Implications [0.0]
A new formulation of relativistic quantum mechanics is presented and applied to a free, massive, and spin zero elementary particle in the Minkowski spacetime.
The reformulation requires that time and space, as well as the timelike and spacelike intervals, are treated equally, which makes the new theory fully symmetric and consistent with the Special Theory of Relativity.

Quantum systems governed by non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with $PT$ symmetry are special in having real energy eigenvalues bounded below and unitary time evolution.
We show how $PT$ symmetry may allow interpretations that evade ghosts and instabilities present in an interpretation of the theory within a Hermitian framework.

Quantum theory deals with objects probabilistically at small scales, whereas relativity deals classically with motion in space and time.
We show here that the mathematical structures of quantum theory and of relativity follow together from pure thought.
One dimension of time and three dimensions of space are thus derived as the profound and inevitable framework of physics.
