- Abstract: We conjecture analytic expressions for the non-local magic of bipartite pure qudit states of prime local dimension. Our construction relies on the Schmidt-aligned state attaining the minimum over local unitaries, a hypothesis that we support with numerical evidence for pairs of qutrits and ququints. For composite local dimensions, we find that the analogous expressions do not in general reproduce the global minimum, but can still provide computationally cheap approximations to the non-local magic. We also find that relations between non-local magic and entanglement diagnostics that hold for two qubits generally do not extend to qutrit and higher-dimensional systems.

A set of multipartite quantum states are called (distinguishability-based) genuinely nonlocal if they are locally indistinguishable across any bipartition of the subsystems.
In this work, we consider the problem of constructing small genuinely nonlocal sets consisting of generalized GHZ states in multipartite systems.

A set of correlations is said to be nonlocal if it cannot be reproduced by spacelike-separated parties sharing randomness and performing local operations.

We consider the dynamics of excited local states in massive scalar field theory in an arbitrary spacetime dimension.
We identify different regimes of their evolution depending on the values of the field mass and the quench regularization parameter.
We also investigate the local quenches in massive scalar field theory on a cylinder and show that they cause an erratic and chaotic-like evolution of observables.
