- Abstract: We consider the Clauser-Horn (CH) inequality for a qubit-qutrit system. We derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the violation of the inequality as well as some sufficient conditions. Remarkably, we demonstrate the importance of local parameters in violation of the inequality. In other words, there are some families of mixed states violating the inequality for which the correlation part alone is useless in the Bell-CH test.

We develop a Horodecki-like criterion based on the state parameters of arbitrary two-qudit states to violate a two-outcome Bell inequality.

We show that Bell's inequality violation of arise from the fact that the condition imposed upon the development of inequality is not respected when it is applied in the idealized experiment.
We also show that only such violation is possible if Wigner's inequality, in a certain arrangement, is violated, and that both violations are related to the violation of one of Kolmogorov's axioms.

Facet inequalities play an important role in detecting the nonlocality of a quantum state.
With the increase in the number of parties, measurement outcomes, or/and the number of measurement settings, there are more nontrivial facet inequalities.
We show that for noisy W states, our inequality is more effective than the well-known Mermin inequality.
