- Abstract: Wang and Blei (2019) studies multiple causal inference and proposes the
deconfounder algorithm. The paper discusses theoretical requirements and
presents empirical studies. Several refinements have been suggested around the
theory of the deconfounder. Among these, Imai and Jiang clarified the
assumption of "no unobserved single-cause confounders." Using their assumption,
this paper clarifies the theory. Furthermore, Ogburn et al. (2020) proposes
counterexamples to the theory. But the proposed counterexamples do not satisfy
the required assumptions.

We will review various theorems proving the impossibility of theories introducing such variables.

The Kohn-Sham (KS) theory has provided a practical tool to implement calculations of ground-state energies and densities in many-electron systems.
There have been attempts to extend the KS theory so that it could describe other physical quantities, or it could be applied to other many-fermion systems.
By generalizing and reformulating the KS theory in terms of the 1-body density matrix, we expose the minimal composition of the theory that enables the reduction of the many-fermion problem to the s.p. equations.

Bell's theorem proves that quantum theory is inconsistent with local physical models.
In the last decade, the investigation of nonlocality has moved beyond Bell's theorem to consider more sophisticated experiments.
This review discusses the main concepts, methods, results and future challenges in the emerging topic of Bell nonlocality in networks.

Quantum systems governed by non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with $PT$ symmetry are special in having real energy eigenvalues bounded below and unitary time evolution.
We show how $PT$ symmetry may allow interpretations that evade ghosts and instabilities present in an interpretation of the theory within a Hermitian framework.

We present a family of topological quantum gravity theories associated with the geometric theory of the Ricci flow.

We continue the study of justification theory by means of three major contributions.
The first is studying the relation between justification theory and game theory.

The third contribution is establishing a precise criterion of when a semantics induced by justification theory yields consistent results.
