- Abstract: We present an exact full symmetry analysis of the 0-$\pi$ superconducting
circuit. We identify points in control parameter space of enhanced anomalous
symmetry, which imposes robust twofold degeneracy of its ground state, that is
for all values of the energy parameters of the model. We show, both
analytically and numerically, how this anomalous symmetry is maintained in the
low-energy sector, thus providing us with a strong candidate for robust qubit
engineering.

We show that strong symmetry always spontaneously breaks into the corresponding weak symmetry.
We conjecture that this relation among strong-to-weak symmetry breaking, gapless modes, and symmetry-charge diffusion is general for continuous symmetries.

We find a remarkable quasi-spin symmetry $su(2)$ at integer values of the ratio $eta=Delta /K$ of the detuning parameter $Delta $ to the Kerr coefficient $K$.
We investigate the stability of this newly discovered symmetry to high-order perturbations arising from the static effective expansion of the driven Hamiltonian.
Our finding may find applications in the generation and stabilization of states useful for quantum computing.

We consider a system of interacting spinless fermions on a two-leg triangular ladder with $pi/2$ magnetic flux per triangular plaquette.
Microscopically, the system exhibits a U(1) symmetry corresponding to the conservation of total fermionic charge, and a discrete $mathbbZ$ symmetry.
At the intersection of the three phases, the system features a critical point with an emergent SU(2) symmetry.

We implement a Floquet Hamiltonian of a single qubit with anti-$mathcalPT$ symmetry by periodically driving a dissipative quantum system of a single trapped ion.

The asymmetric quantum Rabi model (AQRM) has a broken $mathbbZ$ symmetry, with generally a non-degenerate eigenvalue spectrum.
This unknown "symmetry" has thus been referred to as hidden symmetry in the literature.
We show that this hidden symmetry is not limited to the AQRM, but exists in various related light-matter interaction models with an asymmetric qubit bias term.
