- Abstract: The response of dissipative systems to multi-chromatic fields exhibits
generic properties which follow from the discrete time-translation symmetry of
each driving component. We derive these properties and illustrate them with
paradigmatic examples of classical and quantum dissipative systems. In
addition, some computational aspects, in particular a matrix continued-fraction
method, are discussed. Moreover, we propose possible implementations with
quantum optical settings.

Investigation of discrete-time transport in a generic U(1)-symmetric disordered model tuned across an array of different dynamical regimes.
We develop an aggregate quantity, a circular statistical moment, which is a simple function of the magnetization profile.
From this quantity we extract transport exponents, revealing behaviors across the phase diagram consistent with localized, diffusive, and - most interestingly for a disordered system - superdiffusive regimes.

We show the ability to restore states of quantum systems from evolution induced by quantum dynamical semigroups perturbed by covariant measures.
Our procedure describes reconstruction of quantum states transmitted via quantum channels and as a particular example can be applied to reconstruction of photonic states transmitted via optical fibers.

Multiphoton correlations in linear photonic quantum networks are governed by matrix permanents.
We show that the overall multiphoton behavior of a network from its individual building blocks typically defies intuition.
Our results underline new ways in which quantum correlations may be preserved in counterintuitive ways even in small-scale non-Hermitian networks.

Unavoidable coupling of quantum systems to external degrees of freedom leads to dissipative (non-unitary) dynamics.
We introduce a method to deal with these systems based on the calculation of (dissipative) lattice Green's function.
We illustrate the power of this method with several examples of driven-dissipative bosonic chains of increasing complexity.
