- Abstract: We produce an exact solution of the Schr\"odinger equation for the
generalized time dependent Swanson oscillator. The system studied is a
non-Hermitian setup characterized by time dependent complex coefficients. The
exact solution is obtained by applying two transformations and under the right
choice of the relevant parameters. Consequently, the model is reduced to a time
independent harmonic oscillator.

The free expansion of a Gaussian wavepacket is a problem commonly discussed in undergraduate quantum classes.
We provide an alternative way to calculate the free expansion by recognizing that the Gaussian wavepacket can be thought of as the ground state of a harmonic oscillator.

mass nonstationary oscillator [0.0]
We address the exact solutions of a time-dependent Hamiltonian composed by an oscillator-like interaction with both a frequency and a mass term that depend on time.
The latter is achieved by constructing the appropriate point transformation such that it deforms the Schr"odinger equation of a stationary oscillator into the one of the time-dependent model.
This property leads to a straightforward way to determine constants of motion without requiring to use ansatz.
