- Abstract: Hartree--Fock theory in quantum mechanics is reviewed, from the proposal of
the Hartree--Fock approximation right after quantum mechanics was formulated to
its applications in modern physics. This includes the description of
traditional Hartree--Fock theory in quantum chemistry, its generalizations of
various kinds, and its importance for predicting the presence of symmetry
breaking, or the absence thereof.

Quantum theory can be understood as pointing to an ontology of relations.
I observe that this reading of quantum mechanics is supported by the ubiquity of relationality in contemporary fundamental physics.

We propose a formulation of quantum mechanics in an extended Fock space in which a tensor product structure is applied to time.
Subspaces of histories consistent with the dynamics of a particular theory are defined by a direct quantum generalization of the corresponding classical action.
The diagonalization of such quantum actions enables us to recover the predictions of conventional quantum mechanics and reveals an extended unitary equivalence between all physical theories.

Bell's experiment description assumes the (Quantum Mechanics-language equivalent of the classical) condition of Locality.
This result is complementary to a recently published one demonstrating that non-Locality is necessary to describe said experiment.
It is concluded that, within the framework of Quantum Mechanics, there is absolutely no reason to believe in the existence of non-Local effects.
