- Abstract: We calculate the maximal non-equilibrium work that can be extracted from any
mass using information about its micro-state. This is done through the use of
black hole thermodynamics in the context of the thermodynamics of information.
The non-equilibrium work that can be obtained by knowing the exact micro-state
is found to be $\frac{1}{2} Mc^{2}$. This is calculated using the entropy of an
eternal, uncharged, non rotating black hole. This is derivation helps elucidate
the relativity of entropy and its relationship to general relativity and time.

How do noncommuting charges affect thermodynamic phenomena?
Charges' noncommutation has been found to invalidate derivations of the thermal state's form.
Evidence suggests that noncommuting charges may hinder thermalization in some ways while enhancing thermalization in others.

We address the problem of quantifying the information content of a source for an arbitrary information theory.
The functions that solve this problem in classical and quantum theory are Shannon's and von Neumann's entropy, respectively.
In a general information theory there are three different functions that extend the notion of entropy, and this opens the question as to whether any of them can universally play the role of the quantifier for the information content.

entropy of Hawking radiation is approximately equal to the maximum of entanglement entropy if a black hole is in a state before the Page time.
If there exists a process generating smaller entanglements rather than maximal entanglements, the entropy of Hawking radiation will become smaller.
