- Abstract: We address nonclassicality of hybrid coherent states (HCS), i.e. states
expressed as superpositions of coherent states and single-photon-added coherent
(SPAC) state. In particular, we evaluate their photon statistics, squeezing,
and negativity of the Wigner function. Our results indicated that HCS may
exhibit larger nonclassicalities than SPAC state. We also suggest a generation
scheme for HCS which involves Kerr nonlinearity and postselection.

We consider a hybrid coherent state (HCS), which is a coherent superposition of the single-photon-added coherent (SPAC) state and a coherent state (CS)
It's shown that HCS is experimentally realizable, and this engineered quantum state can be used to produce quantum states with desired higher-order nonclassical properties.

We propose two schemes for generating Wigner-negative entangled states unconditionally in mechanical resonators.
We show analytically that both schemes stabilize a Wigner-negative entangled state that combines the entanglement of a two-mode squeezed vacuum with a cubic nonlinearity.
We then perform extensive numerical simulations to test the robustness of Wigner-negative entanglement attained by approximate CPE states stabilized in the presence of thermal decoherence.
