- Abstract: The entire wavefunction of the antineutrino-proton-electron system, produced by the $\beta$ decay of a neutron is analyzed. It is proven that the antineutrino cannot be in coherent superpositions of different mass eigenstates, irrespective of the initial momentum distribution of the neutron.

We investigate the intriguing phenomenon of beta decay of a free neutron in a non-plane-wave(structured) state.
Our analysis covers three types of states: unpolarized vortex (Bessel) neutrons that possess nonzero orbital angular momentum (OAM), Laguerre-Gaussian wave packets, and spin-correlated OAM states characterized by unique polarization patterns.

If a neutrino or antineutrino produced in the decay of an unstable particle is not entangled to its accompanying particles, its mass is correlated with its momentum.
This entanglement would destroy the quantum coherence between the neutrino's mass eigenstates in both the momentum and position representations.

In this reply, I point out that the quantum entanglement between the neutrino's mass and other degrees of freedom would destroy the quantum coherence between the mass eigenstates.

neutrino oscillations originate from virtual excitation of the Z bosonic field over the space.
When the neutrino propagates in matter, its behavior is determined by the competition between the coherent flavor transformation and decoherence effect resulting from scatterings.

We apply a perturbative scheme to derive the non-relativistic Schr"odinger equation in curved spacetime.
We calculate the next-to-leading order corrections to the neutron's energy spectrum.
While the current precision for observations of ultracold neutrons may not yet enable to probe them, they could still be relevant in the future or in alternative circumstances.

neutrino-antineutrino pairs are produced coherently and they are detected with definite flavor in detectors.
We reanalyze this problem by considering some massive neutrinos mixed with light neutrinos.
We see that the oscillation pattern cannot be observed for incoherent neutrinos.

We experimentally observe the parity symmetry breaking of an ancillary Xmon artificial atom induced by the field of a lumped-element superconducting resonator.
