- Abstract: We provide a comprehensive study of heat transport in periodically driven quantum systems using a combination of master equation and Floquet approach. We give exact results (within the weak coupling Redfield theory, with no Markovian or secular approximations) and compare them with alternative approaches involving further approximations. Numerical and analytical results obtained in their appropriate driving regimes are provided for the driven spin boson-model. The adiabatic regime, which is relevant to thermal machines, is discussed.
