- Abstract: Quantum mechanics has lacked a widely recognized interpretation since its
birth. Many of these are still under consideration because interpretations are
tough or impossible to disprove experimentally. We show how to distinguish
experimentally ones assuming tiny, localized particles from those postulating
realistic, non-local wave functions. It is possible thanks to a recently
developed model of optical transmittance of ultra-diluted gas. This model
considers the influence of each gas particle wave function on transmitted
light. Its quantitative predictions are not indifferent to the interpretation
of quantum mechanics. We also refer to the results of a recent experiment
founded on this theory. They are in line with the predictions, which suggests
the correctness of the model. Such results, if confirmed, rule out
interpretations of the type of pilot-wave. In the paper, we briefly explain
both the experiment and the model it is founded on. We also discuss the meaning
of the Born rule.

It is shown that the assumption that the wave function is a real wave entails a contradiction with the predictions of the quantum mechanics.
The article concentrates on interpretations which conjecture that the reality that moves in our apparatuses is particles, and they move under the constraints of the wave function.

We study the physics of a magnetic molecule described by a "giant" spin with multiple $d > 2$ spin states.
We derive an expression for the output modes in the dispersive regime of operation.
We find that the measurement of the cavity transmission allows to uniquely determine the spin state of the qudits.

Two particles are identical if all their intrinsic properties, such as spin and charge, are the same.
Quantum mechanics is seen as a normative and algorithmic theory guiding an agent to assess her subjective beliefs represented as (coherent) sets of gambles.
We show how sets of exchangeable observables (gambles) may be updated after a measurement and discuss the issue of defining entanglement for indistinguishable particle systems.

In Copenhagen the physical objects and the experimental results can be described only in a macroscopic language.
The measurement problem is at the center of these difficulties, mainly because it requires the introduction of the reduction process of the wave function.
We build up and propose a model which is able to solve the measurement problem and all the other difficulties which, in a way or in another, are related to it.

Wheeler's delayed-choice experiment was conceived to illustrate the paradoxical nature of wave-particle duality in quantum mechanics.
In the experiment, quantum light can exhibit either wave-like interference patterns or particle-like anti-correlations.
A variant known as the quantum eraser uses entangled light to recover the lost interference in a seemingly nonlocal and retrocausal manner.

A precise general law for the time evolution of states replacing the Schr"odinger equation is formulated within the so-called ETH-Approach to Quantum Mechanics.

Bell's experiment description assumes the (Quantum Mechanics-language equivalent of the classical) condition of Locality.
This result is complementary to a recently published one demonstrating that non-Locality is necessary to describe said experiment.
It is concluded that, within the framework of Quantum Mechanics, there is absolutely no reason to believe in the existence of non-Local effects.

The principle is to decompose the evolution of a quantum system into two wave functions.
For Schr"odinger, the particles are extended and the square of the module of the (internal) wave function of an electron corresponds to the density of its charge in space.
