- Abstract: In this paper, we show that Quantum Mechanics does not admit ontological
models, in the sense that the quantum state of a system cannot correspond to a
set of physical states representing the independent reality of the system. We
show, via two thought experiments based on the Wigner's friend scenario, that
if the ontic state of physical systems in the lab is the same for Wigner and
for his friend, one of the following will be violated: PBR theorem,
Quantum-theoretic predictions, and the "No-superdeterminism" assumption.

A collapse-free version of quantum theory is introduced to study the role of the projection postulate.
We assume "passive" measurements that do not update quantum states while measurement outcomes still occur probabilistically.
The resulting quantum-like theory has only one type of dynamics, namely unitary evolution.

It is argued that the Schr"odinger equation does not yield a correct description of the quantum-mechanical time evolution of states of isolated (open) systems featuring events.
A precise general law for the time evolution of states replacing the Schr"odinger equation is formulated within the so-called ETH-Approach to Quantum Mechanics.

We formulate a no-go theorem for the persistent reality of Wigner's friend's perception.
In a Wigner's friend scenario, there is no joint probability distribution for the friend's perceived measurement outcomes at two different times.
We briefly discuss which of the theorem's assumptions are more likely to be dropped within various popular interpretations of quantum mechanics.

Bell's experiment description assumes the (Quantum Mechanics-language equivalent of the classical) condition of Locality.
This result is complementary to a recently published one demonstrating that non-Locality is necessary to describe said experiment.
It is concluded that, within the framework of Quantum Mechanics, there is absolutely no reason to believe in the existence of non-Local effects.
