- Title: Time Parametrizations in Long-Range Interacting Bose-Einstein
Condensates
- Authors: Eiji Konishi
- Abstract summary: Time-parametrization invariance in general relativistic space-time does not allow us to single out a time in quantum mechanics in a mechanical way of measurement.
We find that it is a theoretical counterexample of this gauge invariance, except for proper-time translational invariance, at a coarse-grained level.

- Abstract: Time-reparametrization invariance in general relativistic space-time does not
allow us to single out a time in quantum mechanics in a mechanical way of
measurement. Motivated by this problem, we examine this gauge invariance in the
ground state of the quasi-stationary coarse-grained state of a long-range
interacting closed system of identical or identified, macroscopic, and
spatiotemporally inhomogeneous Bose-Einstein condensates in the thermodynamic
and Newtonian limits. As a result, we find that it is a theoretical
counterexample of this gauge invariance, except for proper-time translational
invariance, at a coarse-grained level.

We have given a systematic way to formulate non-relativistic quantum mechanics on 1+1 dimensional NC space-time.
Although the effect of noncommutativity of space-time should presumably become significant at a very high energy scale, it is intriguing to speculate that there should be some relics of the effects of quantum space-time even in a low-energy regime.

In time-independent quantum systems, entanglement entropy possesses an inherent scaling symmetry that the energy of the system does not have.
We show that such systems have dynamical scaling symmetry that leaves the evolution of various measures of quantum correlations invariant.

Textbook quantum mechanics treats time as a classical parameter, and not as a quantum observable with an associated Hermitian operator.
quantum clocks allow for a measurement of the "time at which an event happens" by conditioning the system's evolution on an additional quantum degree of freedom.
We derive here two em true uncertainty relations that relate the uncertainty in the quantum measurement of the time at which a quantum event happens on a system to its energy uncertainty.
