- Abstract: We study the quantum backflow problem of a relativistic charged Dirac fermion
constrained to move on a ring of radius $R$. Using the relativistic current
operator we compute the probability flux through a generic time interval to
show emergence of quantum backflow. We also discuss the limiting case when the
particle moves along a line.

The free expansion of a Gaussian wavepacket is a problem commonly discussed in undergraduate quantum classes.
We provide an alternative way to calculate the free expansion by recognizing that the Gaussian wavepacket can be thought of as the ground state of a harmonic oscillator.
As quantum instruction evolves to include more quantum information science applications, reworking this well known problem using a squeezing formalism will help students develop intuition for how squeezed states are used in quantum sensing.

We observe that the entanglement phase transitions occurring in the stationary state have the same nature as that occurring in the vacuum of the non-hermitian Hamiltonian.

It was shown that the tunneling time of a relativistic spin-0 particle is instantaneous under the condition that the barrier height $V_o$ is less than the rest mass energy.
This implies that instantaneous tunneling is an inherent quantum effect in the context of arrival times.
