- Abstract: We propose a class of pure states of two-dimensional lattice systems
realizing topological order associated with unitary rational vertex operator
algebras. We show that the states are well-defined in the thermodynamic limit
and have exponential decay of correlations. The construction provides a natural
way to insert anyons and compute certain topological invariants. It also gives
candidates for bosonic states in non-trivial invertible phases, including the
$E_8$ phase.

Relative representations are an established approach to zero-shot model stitching.
We introduce a normalization procedure in the relative transformation, resulting in invariance to non-isotropic rescalings and permutations.
Second, we propose to deploy topological densification when fine-tuning relative representations, a topological regularization loss encouraging clustering within classes.

We introduce axioms for locally topologically ordered quantum spin systems in terms of nets of local ground state projections.
For a locally topologically ordered spin system on $mathbbZk$, we define a local net of boundary algebras on $mathbbZk-1$.
We construct a canonical quantum channel so that states on the boundary quasi-local algebra parameterize bulk-boundary states without reference to a boundary Hamiltonian.

Short-range-correlated fermionic pure Gaussian states with fundamental symmetries are systematically classified by the periodic table.
We revisit this topic from a quantum-information-inspired operational perspective without referring to any Hamiltonians.
We find that while bosonic Gaussian states are all trivial, there exist nontrivial bosonic Gaussian operations that cannot be continuously deformed into the identity under the locality and symmetry constraint.

The topological entanglement entropy is used to measure long-range quantum correlations in the ground state of topological phases.
Here we obtain closed form expressions for topological entropy of (2+1)- and (3+1)-dimensional loop gas models.
We conjecture a general property of these $mathcalS$-matrices, with proofs provided in many special cases.

The OTOC-RE theorem relates the OTOCs summed over a complete base of operators to the second Renyi entropy.
We show that the sum over a small set of relevant operators, is enough in order to obtain a very good approximation for the entropy.
In turn, this provides with an alternative natural indicator of complexity, i.e. the scaling of the number of relevant operators with time.
