- Abstract summary: The fate of the single particle immersed in and interacting with a bath of other particles localized in a tilted lattice is investigated.
For tilt values comparable to the tunneling rate a slow-down of the dynamics is observed without, however, a clear localization of the impurity.

- Abstract: The fate of the single particle immersed in and interacting with a bath of
other particles localized in a tilted lattice is investigated. For tilt values
comparable to the tunneling rate a slow-down of the dynamics is observed
without, however, a clear localization of the impurity. For large tilt and
strong interactions the motion of the impurity resembles that in the
Kronig-Penney potential. The dynamics depends on the initial distribution of
tilted bosons. It shows delocalized dynamics for a regular, density wave like
distribution and a localization if tilted bosons are randomly distributed.

We calculate the distribution of the polaron momentum established when the post-kick relaxation is over.
In the first process, the whole impulse is transferred to the polaron, without creating phonon-like excitations of the fluid.
The latter process is, in fact, a Bragg reflection at the edge of the emergent Brillouin zone.

We numerically show that chiral motion of the density distribution is observed and robust for the case with positive potentials (quasiholes)
Our results suggest that, in small lattices with low particle density, quasiparticles are strongly adversely affected in dynamical processes, whereas quasiholes are dynamically robust.

We propose a model of one-dimensional chain of non-interacting, spinless fermions coupled to a local ensemble of baths.
We show that the steady state of the system undergoes a localization entanglement phase transition by tuning $p$ which remains stable in the presence of coherent hopping.

Inter-site dipolar interactions induce non-ergodic dynamics for dipolar bosons in an optical lattice.
For shallow-enough lattices, the delocalization stemming from the interaction-induced hopping overcomes the localization induced by inter-site interactions.
Our results show that interaction-induced hopping should play a crucial role in future experiments on the dynamics of polar lattice gases.
