- Abstract: We have investigated the phonon dynamics of a single-molecule embedded in a
mechanical resonator made of an organic crystal. The whole system is placed in
an optical resonator within the bad cavity limit. We have found that the
optical control of the molecular population affects the phonon dynamics.
Long-lived phonons are obtained when slowing-down the decay dynamics of the
molecule via modulation of the transition frequency. The discussed results are
also valid for optomechanical setups based on other types of two-level emitters
and mechanical resonators.

The decoherence dynamics and spectral response of an optomechanical system is addressed.
The decoherence considered arises from pure dephasing, described by the Milburn evolution of the Schr"odinger equation.
Results and discussion comparing the inclusions of the linear, quadratic, and linear-quadratic couplings are given.

We have investigated photon-assisted Landau-Zener transitions and qubit manipulation in a quantum electrodynamics device.
Results show that low phonon frequencies can alter the qubit dynamics, particularly in the absence of the driving fields.
This study unveils the imperative roles that photons and phonons play in the Rabi dimer model.
