- Abstract: A method is proposed to produce a classical optical state that is `intersystem nonseparable' and a close analog of the $\phi^+$ Bell state. A derivation of the CHSH-Bell inequality is sketched within the framework of classical polarization optics, using non-contextuality for factorizable states as an axiom rather than any hidden variable theory. It is shown that the classical state violates this inequality.

Photon-blockade breakdown bistability can be intuitively explained invoking the energy spectrum of the interacting qubit-mode system.
Yet, the neoclassical solution of the driven-dissipative Jaynes-Cummings model has been shown to capture several key aspects of the phenomenon.

We demonstrate how one can still perform negative measurements with an appropriate assignment of variables, and show that the inequalities are violable with coherent states.

Three notions are often assumed to be essentially equivalent, representing different facets of the same phenomenon.
We analyze them in general Friedmann-Lemaitre- Robertson-Walker space-times through the lens of geometric structures on the classical phase space.
The analysis shows that: (i) inflation does not play an essential role; classical behavior can emerge much more generally; (ii) the three notions are conceptually distinct; classicality can emerge in one sense but not in another.
