- Abstract: A coherent seeded SU(1,1) interferometer provides a prominent technique in the field of precision measurement. We theoretically study the phase sensitivity of SU(1,1) interferometer with Kerr state seeding under single intensity and homodyne detection schemes. To find the lower bound in this case we calculate the quantum Cram\'er-Rao bound using the quantum Fisher information technique. We found that, under some conditions, the Kerr seeding performs better in phase sensitivity compared to the well-known vacuum and coherent seeded case. We expect that the Kerr state might act as an alternative non-classical state in the field of quantum information and sensing technologies.

We investigate the impact of introducing a local cavity within the center of a topological chain.
This cavity induces a scissor-like effect that bisects the chain, liberating Majorana zero modes (MZMs) within the bulk.
By leveraging the symmetry properties of fermion modes within a two-site cavity, we propose a novel method for generating MZM-polariton Schr"odinger cat states.

Two local displacement operations (LDOs) inside an SU (1,1) interferometer are investigated in this paper.
We show that the estimation performance of DSU (1,1) interferometer is always better than that of SU (1,1) interferometer without the LDO.
Our findings would open an useful view for quantum-improved phase estimation of optical interferometers.

We introduce an operational way to distinguish between the overall shift in the pulse wavepacket and its genuine deformation after propagation.
We then apply our technique to quantum states of photons that are coherent in the frequency degree of freedom.
We find that the quantum coherence initially present can enhance the deformation induced by propagation in a curved background.
