- Abstract: Erasing a black hole leaves spacetime flat, so light passing through the region before any star forms and after black hole's evaporation shows no time delay, just like a flying mirror that returns to its initial starting point. Quantum radiation from a round-trip flying mirror has not been solved despite the model's mathematical simplicity and physical clarity. Here, we solve the particle creation from worldlines that asymptotically start and stop at the same spot, resulting in interesting spectra and symmetries, including the time dependence of thermal radiance associated with Bose-Einstein and Fermi-Dirac Bogolubov coefficients. Fourier analysis, intrinsically linked to the Bogolubov mechanism, shows that a thermal Bogolubov distribution does not describe the spin statistics of the quantum field.

Our recovery shows compact, bright regions at a distance of roughly six times the event horizon.
It suggests a clockwise rotation in a low-inclination orbital plane, consistent with prior studies.

In an Anderson localized system, a quantum particle with a nonzero initial velocity returns, on average, to its origin.
Time reversal invariance was initially thought to be a necessary condition for the existence of this phenomenon.
We theoretically analyze the impact of the symmetry breaking on the phenomenon using a one-dimensional system with a spin-orbit coupling.

Quantum Bouncing Ball is the time evolution of a quantum wave packet in the linear gravity potential.

In this article, space and momentum spectra as well as Wigner functions of the neutron wave functions in the gravitational field of the Earth are analyzed.

We show that the entropy sphere associated with the underlying microstructure has to be necessarily broadened when the fine grained radiation entropy becomes maximal.
We argue that the standard thermodynamical description is valid so long the black hole viewed from outside is sufficiently large, radiation escaping into the future null infinity can be described on a smooth spacetime background, and the von Neumann entropy of Hawking radiation evolves unitarily.
