- Abstract: In quantum state discrimination, nonlocality arises when the optimal state discrimination cannot be realized by local operations and classical communication. Recently, it has been found that the postmeasurement information about the subensemble containing the prepared state can annihilate or create nonlocality in quantum state discrimination. Here, we show that annihilation or creation of nonlocality in quantum state discrimination can depend on the choice of subensembles provided by postmeasurement information. We establish sufficient conditions that annihilating or creating nonlocality depends on the choice of subensembles provided by postmeasurement information. We further provide bipartite quantum state ensembles satisfying these conditions to illustrate our results.

Discrimination of quantum states under local operations and classical communication (LOCC) is an intriguing question.
We introduce a framework for input-dependent local quantum state discrimination, which we call local random authentication (LRA)
The results highlight a completely new aspect of the interplay between the security of information in a network and quantum entanglement under the LOCC paradigm.

We define an alternative way of quantifying nonlocality of states based on Bell nonlocality of behaviors, called the trace-weighted nonlocal volume.
The construction is based on the nonlocal volume, a quantifier of nonlocality for states that counts the volume of the set of measurements that give rise to nonlocal behaviors when applied to this state, plus the trace distance.
We show that the weak anomaly of nonlocality for the (2, 2, 3) scenario persists, but the local minimum for nonlocality with the trace-weighted nonlocal volume occurs in a different state as compared to the minimum for the

Nonlocality without entanglement (NLWE) is a nonlocal phenomenon that occurs in quantum state discrimination of multipartite separable states.
In this paper, we show that even in optimal discrimination, the occurrence of NLWE can depend on nonzero prior probabilities.
