- Abstract: We explore the acoustic Ginzburg effect using a toy model consisting of a mass-spring chain and a detector. This effect is characterized by the excitation of the detector from its ground state and the generation of acoustic phonons in the chain from the vacuum when the detector travels at a uniform speed greater than the speed of sound. By analyzing a scenario where the detector travels in a superposition of two trajectories at different uniform velocities relative to the center of mass of the chain, we find that the reduced state of either the chain phonons or the detector's internal excitations differ when the detector is in a superposition of distinct trajectories as compared with a single localized trajectory. This distinction enables the chain or the detector to act as a quantum device to distinguish the detector's trajectory.

We investigate the correlation harvesting protocol using two Unruh-DeWitt particle detectors moving along four classes of uniformly accelerated trajectories.
We find that detectors undergoing linear, catenary, and cusped motions gain fewer correlations in the nonstationary configurations.
Remarkably we find that under certain circumstances detectors in both linear and circular states of motion can harvest genuine entanglement even though they are in causal contact.

Two non-identical quantum emitters, when placed within a cavity and coherently excited at the two-photon resonance, can reach stationary states of nearly maximal entanglement.
We show that this mechanism is merely one among a complex family of phenomena that can generate both stationary and metastable entanglement when driving the emitters at the two-photon resonance.

We study the effects of motion for an Unruh-DeWitt detector, modeled as a two-level system, on the amount of coherence extracted.
We observe that compared to a detector at rest, for certain values of the initial energy of the field and the interaction duration, the amount is larger for both a detector moving with a constant speed or uniform acceleration.

In spite of particle losses the quantum entanglement propagation exhibits a ballistic character with propagation speeds related to the differerent quasiparticles that are involved in the dynamics.
Our analysis reveals that photon dissipation has a strikingly asymmetric behavior in the two configurations with a much more dramatic role on the holon entanglement propagation than for the doublon case.

We extend the standard treatment of an Unruh-deWitt detector to include the detector travelling in a quantum superposition of classical trajectories.
We derive perturbative expressions for the final state of the detector, and show that it depends on field correlation functions evaluated locally.
We show that in general, such a detector does not thermalise even if the superposed paths would individually yield the same thermal state.
