- Abstract: The quantum corrections to the behavior of a semi-classical gas can be expressed as a power series of the ratio $eta$ between the cube of De Broglie's thermal wavelength and the specific volume. The connection between $eta$ and the multioccupancy of quantum states is the aim of the present work. By means of a chemical/physical approach it is possible to associate $eta$ to the concrete realization of multioccupancy in momentum space, through the formation of what we call "pseudo-molecules", i.e. multiplets of particles sharing momenta whose differences are negligeable in the continuous spctrum approximation. The pseudo-molecules result as casual consequences of multiple scattering processes among non interacting (scattering apart) particles.

A quantum simulation of magnetism in trapped-ion systems makes use of the crystal vibrations to mediate pairwise interactions between spins.
These interactions can be accounted for by a long-wavelength relativistic theory, where the phonons are described by a coarse-grained Klein-Gordon field.
We show that thermal effects, which can be controlled by laser cooling, can unveil this flow through the appearance of thermal masses in interacting QFTs.

We study phase transitions occurring in the stationary state of the dynamics of integrable many-body non-Hermitian Hamiltonians.
We observe that the entanglement phase transitions occurring in the stationary state have the same nature as that occurring in the vacuum of the non-hermitian Hamiltonian.

Adding a one-dimensional optical lattice creates a platform where quantum fluctuations are still unexplored.
We employ Bloch oscillations as an interferometric tool to assess the role quantum fluctuations play in an array of quasi-two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensates.
Long-lived oscillations are observed when the chemical potential is balanced between sites, in a region where a macrodroplet is extended over several lattice sites.

A quantitative quantum field approach with non-local order parameters is presented for a very weakly interacting, dilute Bose gas.
It is shown that both coherent oscillations, as well as decay times of quantum coherence for the forward and backward propagating components of the quantum field are defined by a unique time variable.
A quantitative estimate for the unit time scale for time propagation of a particle in a very weakly interacting Bose gas is derived from the coherence time of the wave field.
