- Abstract: We study and compare the time evolutions of concurrence and quantum discord
in a driven system of two interacting qubits prepared in a generic Werner
state. The~corresponding quantum dynamics is exactly treated and manifests the
appearance and disappearance of entanglement. Our analytical treatment
transparently unveils the physical reasons for the occurrence of such a
phenomenon, relating it to the dynamical invariance of the $X$ structure of the
initial state. The~quantum correlations which asymptotically emerge in the
system are investigated in detail in terms of the time evolution of the
fidelity of the initial Werner state.

We investigate two mechanisms leading to memory loss of non-Gaussian correlations after switching off the interactions in an isolated quantum system.
The first mechanism is based on spatial scrambling and results in the emergence of locally Gaussian steady states.
The second mechanism, characterized as canonical transmutation', is based on the mixing of a pair of canonically conjugate fields.

We show that the relaxation dynamics of Markovian open quantum systems can be accelerated exponentially by devising an optimal unitary transformation.
This initial "rotation" is engineered in such a way that the state of the quantum system becomes to the slowest decaying dynamical mode.
We illustrate our idea by showing how to achieve an exponential speed-up in the convergence to stationarity in Dicke models.

We introduce a quantum version for the statistical complexity measure, in the context of quantum information theory, and use it as a signalling function of quantum order-disorder transitions.

We also compute this measure for one-qubit and two-qubit reduced states for the considered models, and analyse its behaviour across its quantum phase transitions for finite system sizes as well as in the thermodynamic limit by using Bethe ansatz.
