- Title: A response to criticisms on "CMB Constraints Cast a Shadow on CSL Model"
- Authors: Jerome Martin, Vincent Vennin
- Abstract summary: We explain why the arguments presented in [G. R. Bengochea, G. Leon, P. Pearle, and D. Sudarsky, arXiv:2008.05285, see also arXiv:2006.05313] are either incorrect or a confirmation of the robustness of our results.

- Abstract: Our recent letter "Cosmic Microwave Background Constraints Cast a Shadow On
Continuous Spontaneous Localization Models" [arXiv:1906.04405] has recently
been criticised in [G. R. Bengochea, G. Leon, P. Pearle, and D. Sudarsky,
arXiv:2008.05285, see also arXiv:2006.05313]. In this reply, we explain why the
arguments presented in those articles are either incorrect or a confirmation of
the robustness of our results.

The essay aims to respond to such objections and to show once again that the theorem proved in our paper is correct, and therefore true - contrary to Gao's claims.

It is shown that quantum and classical predictions converge as the number of qubits is increases to the macroscopic scale.
This way to explain the classical limit concurs with, and improves, a result previously reported for GHZ states.

We propose a theory that preserves spin-summed scattering and decay rates at tree level while affecting particle spins.
This is achieved by breaking the Lorentz group in a non-local way.

We estimate the effect of arXiving a paper before the reviewing period (early arXiving) on its acceptance to the conference.
Our results suggest that early arXiving may have a small effect on a paper's chances of acceptance.

We study Krylov complexity in various models of quantum field theory.
We find that the exponential growth of Krylov complexity satisfies the conjectural inequality, which generalizes the Maldacena-Shenker-Stanford bound on chaos.

We argue that the criticism is unfounded.
In particular, and in contrast to Stacey's claims, our proof does not assume linearity.

We discuss a recent work by J.Lawrence et al.[arxiv.org/abs/2208.11793] criticizing relational quantum mechanics (RQM) and based on a famous nonlocality theorem.
Here, we show that the claims presented in this recent work are unjustified and we debunk the analysis.

In a recent comment [arXiv:2112.05658], Grudka and W'ojcik object to some of our earlier claims concerning a link between fundamental postulates of quantum theory and special relativity extended to superluminal frames of reference.
In this short reply we refute these criticisms.

We argue that, for most natural choices, the direct application of the continuous spontaneous localization (CSL) theory to the inflationary case is ruled out by observational data.
We point out that such results are based on the consideration of a rather narrow set of choices for the application of the theory to the cosmological context.
