- Abstract: We consider the possibility that the goal of quantizing General Relativity should be abandoned in favor of Semiclassical Gravity. A formalism is provided for doing so. The quantum measurement problem is investigated in this context. Particular attention is paid to the EPR paradox and the Page-Geilker experiment.

Quantum measurement is a fundamental concept in the field of quantum mechanics.

We employ a new space-time approach to relativistic quantum mechanics to address these issues systematically.

We look at proposals for "witnessing" quantum gravity via entanglement from the point of view of Bronstein's original objection to a quantization of gravity.
We argue that this "failure" is actually an inherent feature of any quantum description.
In the second part, we speculate on how an exact realization of the equivalence principle might be implemented in an effective quantum field theory.
