- Abstract: We explore a field theoretical approach to quantum computing and control.
This book consists of three parts. The basics of systems theory and field
theory are reviewed in Part I. In Part II, a gauge theory is reinterpreted from
a systems theoretical perspective and applied to the formulation of quantum
gates. Then quantum systems are defined by introducing feedback to the gates.
In Part III, quantum gates and systems are reformulated from a quantum field
theoretical perspective using S-matrices. We also discuss how gauge fields are
related to feedback.

We explore a wider theoretical framework that has quantum field theory built-in, taking the fact that quantum mechanics is reconstructed from quantum field theory as a hint.
We formulate a quantum theory with an embedded structure by introducing functional operators, and we find that it could describe the level II multiverse.

I will argue that GQT should be taken seriously because it provides a series of important benefits that current widely discussed lack, namely, wave function realism and primitive primitive, without some of their costs.

Theory of quantum electrical circuits goes under the name of circuit quantum electrodynamics or circuit-QED.
The goal of the theory is to provide a quantum description of the most relevant degrees of freedom.
These lecture notes aim at giving a pedagogical overview of this subject for theoretically-oriented Master or PhD students in physics and electrical engineering.

We present a compositional reconstruction of quantum theory that includes infinite-dimensional systems.
This reconstruction is noteworthy for three reasons: it includes no restrictions on the dimension of a system; it allows for both classical, quantum, and mixed systems; and it makes no a priori reference to the structure of the real (or complex) numbers.
