- Title: Relational Quantum Mechanics is about Facts, not States: A reply to
Pienaar and Brukner
- Authors: Andrea Di Biagio and Carlo Rovelli
- Abstract summary: We answer objections to the relational interpretation of quantum mechanics raised by vCaslav Brukner and Jacques Pienaar.
We show that, far from questioning the viability of the interpretation, they sharpen and clarify it.

- Abstract: In recent works, \v{C}aslav Brukner and Jacques Pienaar have raised
interesting objections to the relational interpretation of quantum mechanics.
We answer these objections in detail and show that, far from questioning the
viability of the interpretation, they sharpen and clarify it.

We discuss a recent work by J.Lawrence et al.[arxiv.org/abs/2208.11793] criticizing relational quantum mechanics (RQM) and based on a famous nonlocality theorem.
Here, we show that the claims presented in this recent work are unjustified and we debunk the analysis.

We introduce and analyse a quantum coupon collector protocol by employing coherent states and simple linear optical elements.
We show that our protocol can significantly reduce the number of samples needed to learn a specific set compared with the classical limit of the coupon collector problem.
We also discuss the potential values and expansions of the quantum coupon collector by constructing a quantum blind box game.

Bell's experiment description assumes the (Quantum Mechanics-language equivalent of the classical) condition of Locality.
This result is complementary to a recently published one demonstrating that non-Locality is necessary to describe said experiment.
It is concluded that, within the framework of Quantum Mechanics, there is absolutely no reason to believe in the existence of non-Local effects.

This note is to test the possibility to expand the Wang-Busemeyer model by considering questions which are mathematically represented by positive operator valued measures.
But, we also showed that, in principle, it is possible to reduce expanded model to the original Wang-Busemeyer model by expanding the context of the questions.
