- Abstract: A summary is presented of the properties of the coefficient matrices formed
by expanding the two-body reduced density matrix in a complete set of
two-electron wave functions. Calculating the relationship between the many
electron wave function and these so-called two-body density matrices enables
the derivation of necessary $N$-representability conditions that ensure a given
matrix obeys the postulates of many-body quantum mechanics.

We develop the family of matrix-manipulation algorithms based on the encoding the matrix elements into the probability amplitudes of the pure superposition state of a certain quantum system.
We introduce two extensions to these algorithms which allow (i) to perform Hermitian conjugation of matrices under consideration and (ii) to weaken the restriction to the absolute values of matrix elements unavoidably imposed by the normalization condition for a pure quantum state.

We propose a novel SNMF model by seeking low-rank representation for the tensor synthesized by the pairwise constraint matrix.
We then propose an enhanced SNMF model, making the embedding matrix tailored to the above tensor low-rank representation.
