- Title: Quantum cosmological gravitational waves?
- Authors: Amaury Micheli and Patrick Peter
- Abstract summary: General relativity and its cosmological solution predicts the existence of tensor modes of perturbations evolving on top of our Friedman-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker expanding Universe.
Being gauge invariant and not necessarily coupled to other quantum sources, they can be seen as representing pure gravity.
This review will present a summary of the various theoretical issues that could lead to this conclusion.

- Abstract: General relativity and its cosmological solution predicts the existence of
tensor modes of perturbations evolving on top of our
Friedman-Lema\^itre-Robertson-Walker expanding Universe. Being gauge invariant
and not necessarily coupled to other quantum sources, they can be seen as
representing pure gravity. Unambiguously showing they are indeed to be
quantised would thus provide an unquestionable proof of the quantum nature of
gravitation. This review will present a summary of the various theoretical
issues that could lead to this conclusion.

Recently proposed table-top tests of quantum gravity'' involve creating, separating and recombining superpositions of masses at non-relativistic speeds.
Analyses suggest that negligible gravitational radiation is generated if the interference experiments involve sufficiently small accelerations.

The mass of the universe is a distribution of non-zero values of gravitational constraints.
A formulation of the Euclidean quantum theory of gravity is also proposed to determine the initial state.
Being unrelated to ordinary matter, the distribution of its own mass affects the geometry of space.
