- Abstract: We examine two conditions that can be used to detect bipartite entanglement,
and show that they can be used to provide lower bounds on the negativity of
states. We begin with two-qubit states, and then show how what was done there
can be extended to more general states. The resulting bounds are then studied
by means of a number of examples. We also show that if one has some knowledge
of the Schmidt vectors of a state, better bounds can be found.

For general bipartite mixed states, a sufficient and necessary mathematical condition for certifying entanglement and/or (Bell) non-locality remains unknown.
We derive very simple, handy criteria for detecting entanglement or non-locality in many cases.
We illustrate these results by analyzing the potential detection of entanglement and nonlocality in Higgs to ZZ decays at the LHC.

Embezzlement of entanglement refers to the task of extracting entanglement from an entanglement resource via local operations and without communication.
We show that finite-dimensional approximations of multipartite embezzling states form multipartite embezzling families.
We discuss our results in the context of quantum field theory and quantum many-body physics.

We present new connections between three types of quantum states: positive under partial transpose states, symmetric with positive coefficients states and invariant under realignment states.
These connections add new evidence to the pattern that for every proven result for one of these types, there are counterparts for the other two, which is a potential source of information for entanglement theory.
