- Abstract: A approach for two-dimensional(2D) negative permeability in a $\Lambda$-type three-level atomic system interacting with a probe magnetic and the superposition of two orthogonal standing-wave fields is proposed. Through the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, two equally and tunable peak maxima of negative magnetic responses are observed in the x-y plane, and around the peak maxima region the negative permeability is isotropic. A new avenue to 2D isotropic negative

Long-range interactions are a key resource in many quantum phenomena and technologies.
We show how to design the polaritonic bands of these atomic metamaterials to feature a pair of frequency-isolated Weyl points.
These Weyl excitations can thus mediate interactions that are simultaneously long-range, due to their gapless nature; robust, due to the topological protection of Weyl points; and decoherence-free, due to their subradiant character.

We propose two schemes for generating Wigner-negative entangled states unconditionally in mechanical resonators.
We show analytically that both schemes stabilize a Wigner-negative entangled state that combines the entanglement of a two-mode squeezed vacuum with a cubic nonlinearity.
We then perform extensive numerical simulations to test the robustness of Wigner-negative entanglement attained by approximate CPE states stabilized in the presence of thermal decoherence.
