- Abstract: We extend a recently developed projective circuit quantisation approach to incorporate superconducting Higgs modes associated to gap dynamics. This approach starts from a microscopic fermionic Hamiltonian for mesoscopic superconductors, and projects the system onto its low-energy "BCS" Hilbert space. We derive analytical results for the superconducting Higgs mass, "spring" constant, and oscillation frequency of the gap dynamics, which we validate numerically. We compute anharmonic corrections to the Higgs frequency for higher excitations of small superconducting islands, and compare our results to previous long-wavelength calculations.

Coherence [0.6364409691582438]
A terahertz pulse-pair modulation of the superconducting gap generates a "time grating" of coherent Higgs population.
These manifestations appear as Higgs echo spectral peaks occurring at frequencies forbidden by equilibrium particle-hole symmetry.
The Higgs interference and anharmonicity control the decoherence of driven superconductivity.

The interactions occurring naturally in the QEC array, due to tunneling of Cooper-pairs and pairs of Cooper-pairs, give rise to a non-integrable, interacting, lattice model of quantum rotors.

Lightwave periodic driving of nearly dissipation-less currents has recently emerged as a universal control concept for superconducting (SC) and topological electronics applications.
We report the discovery of lightwave-controlled superconductivity via parametric time-periodic driving of strongly-coupled bands in iron-based superconductors.
We are able to measure non-perturbative, high-order correlations in this strongly-driven superconductivity by separating the THz multi-dimensional coherent spectra into conventional pump-probe, Higgs collective mode, and pronounced bi-Higgs frequency sideband peaks with highly nonlinear field dependence.
