- Abstract summary: An exact solvable model mimicking demixing of two Bose-Einstein condensates at the many-body level of theory is devised.

- Abstract: An exactly solvable model mimicking demixing of two Bose-Einstein condensates
at the many-body level of theory is devised. Various properties are expressed
in closed form along the demixing pathway and investigated. The connection
between the center-of-mass coordinate and in particular the relative
center-of-mass coordinate and demixing is explained. The model is also exactly
solvable at the mean-field level of theory, allowing thereby comparison between
many-body and mean-field properties. Applications are briefly discussed.

We identify two different classes: the near edge physics of sparse'' and the near edge of dense'' chaotic systems.
The distinction lies in the ratio between the number of a system's random parameters and its Hilbert space dimension.
While the two families share identical spectral correlations at energy scales comparable to the level spacing, the density of states and its fluctuations near the edge are different.

We compute the geometric phases acquired in both unitary and dissipative Jaynes-Cummings models.

We show the geometric phase is robust, exhibiting a vanishing correction under a non-unitary evolution.
