- Abstract: It has been realized that the measurement problem of quantum mechanics is
essentially the determinate-experience problem, and in order to solve the
problem, the physical state representing the measurement result is required to
be also the physical state on which the mental state of an observer supervenes.
This necessitates a systematic analysis of the forms of psychophysical
connection in the solutions to the measurement problem. In this paper, I
propose a new, mentalistic formulation of the measurement problem which lays
more stress on psychophysical connection. By this new formulation, it can be
seen more clearly that the three main solutions to the measurement problem,
namely Everett's theory, Bohm's theory and collapse theories, correspond to
three different forms of psychophysical connection. I then analyze these forms
of psychophysical connection. It is argued that the forms of psychophysical
connection required by Everett's and Bohm's theories have potential problems,
while an analysis of how the mental state of an observer supervenes on her wave
function may help solve the structured tails problem of collapse theories.

Key concept of quantum information theory is that accessing information encoded in a quantum system requires us to discriminate between several possible states the system could be in.
In this paper, we prove that if the members of a given sequence are drawn secretly and independently from an ensemble or even from different ensembles, the optimum success probability is achievable by fixed local measurements on the individual members of the sequence.

According to a particular interpretation of quantum mechanics, the causal role of human consciousness in the measuring process is called upon to solve a foundational problem called the "measurement problem"
Our working hypothesis is that a process-based approach to the consciousness causes collapse interpretation offers a better metaphysical understanding of consciousness and its role in interpreting quantum mechanics.

We propose a new way of thinking about causality -- we call this causal deep learning.

In Copenhagen the physical objects and the experimental results can be described only in a macroscopic language.
The measurement problem is at the center of these difficulties, mainly because it requires the introduction of the reduction process of the wave function.
We build up and propose a model which is able to solve the measurement problem and all the other difficulties which, in a way or in another, are related to it.
